The City of Tipton, Iowa |

In the heart of Eastern Iowa lies a
small city of around 3,200 residents. The Cedar County courthouse anchors
the City Square. Large, beautiful, turn-of-the-century victorian homes
adorn many city streets, their interiors and exteriors lovingly and
respectfully restored in a historically-appropriate manner. Two state
highways intersect in the middle of town and provide easy access to larger
US and Interstate highways only minutes away. Cheers are heard from the
east side of town as the high school football team scores another
touchdown against a nearby rival. Small children are seen and heard running and
playing. Friendly shouts of "good evening!" ring out as young families, out for a stroll, pass neighbors enjoying their evening on the porch. |
