City Administration offices are located at Tipton City Hall, 407 Lynn Street with office hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Any questions regarding City or municipal services can be directed to the administrative offices at 563.886.6187.  After hours emergency calls can be made to 563.886.2424 and are directed to the Cedar County Sheriff's Office for 24 hour dispatch of municipal on-call personnel.

Tipton City Administrative offices include the City Manager, City Clerk, City Finance Officer, and Utility Billing / Reception. The Tipton Police Department is within City Hall with a separate entrance from Lynn Street. Tipton City Hall also houses the City Council Chambers, the City conference room, Tipton's local access cable television channel, and adjoins to the Municipal Power Plant.
