Details

Come join the fun as we romp around in snowshoes and try our luck catching some bass and bluegills at Bennett Park pond! Meet at Bennett Park shelter one (first entrance when coming from the town of Bennett). This is a Fish Iowa Program, so it is a mandatory catch and release during our program. Participants will NOT need a fishing license though during our program. Ice fishing poles and bait will be provided. This is a FREE public program and everyone is welcome to join! Since we live in Iowa, this is a TENTATIVE program (you never know with our crazy weather). Registration is required (that way I can call you to tell you if the weather and ice conditions are appropriate for our adventure). To register, please call 563-886-6930 or email us at cedarccb@cedarcounty.org. Please let us know the number of people that will be attending in your party. If you plan to go snowshoeing, please let us know if you will need adult snowshoes and/or children snowshoes.
