Tipton Community Bicycle Ride ~ Earth Day
Let’s go for a bike ride! As part of Tipton’s celebration of Earth Day, we will have a community bike ride for anyone wanting to join in the fun! The celebration will be Sunday, April 22
nd
in the Tipton City Park. There will be displays at 12:00 p.m., join a community walk around the track at 12:30 p.m., opening ceremonies at 1:00 p.m., Go Fly a Kite at 1:30 p.m., tree planting with Sarah followed by the bike ride at 2:00 p.m. Get your bike out, air up the tires, grab your helmets and let’s get ready to ride!

UCC, Flag raising and Pledge of Allegiance by Cub, Boy and Girl Scouts, Joyce Kilmer’s poem “Trees” by Allison Ryan (February KCRG Student of the Month), Mayoral Earth Day Proclamation, Mayor Bryan Carney and announcement and reading of winning Middle School Earth Day Essays
1:30 p.m.
– Go Fly a Kite, Kite flying contest
