The City of West Branch, Iowa will be hosting its annual Hoover's Hometown Days on August 5th and 6th. Hoover's Hometown Days, West Branch's premier event of the summer, is a two-day festival where the city comes to life with music, food, rides, captivating fireworks and a lively parade that takes over the downtown area. Performers include the 34th Army Band and the Dean-O-Holics, while other activities featured range from inflatables to comedy shows. The weekend honors Herbert Hoover, 31st president of the United States and West Branch native.
