Braking Traffik is a leader in Iowa and Illinois to end human trafficking. A program of Family Resources, Braking Traffik p rovides community outreach and education, legislative advocacy and comprehensive services to survivors of human trafficking. This presentation will help identify what human trafficking is, stories from survivors, and how to prevent it. The presenter, Auston McLain, has been an advocate for marginalized communities for over twelve years. His prior advocacy work included managing mentoring programs in New York for NYC Public Schools, youth in foster care, the LGBT community, and people experiencing homelessness.
