You will find a number of excellent recreational opportunities in Tipton. The 33-acre City Park is home to the Tipton High School football field and track, a lighted softball diamond, tennis courts, horseshoe courts, playground equipment, a disc golf course, youth ball diamonds, Skateboard Park, basketball courts and three pavilions with adjacent fireplaces.

The James Kennedy Family Aquatic Center is a state-of-the-art recreation complex and is the only indoor/outdoor aquatic facility in the region. It consists of a zero-depth-entry outdoor pool complete with a speed slide, double flume slide, a lazy river, a six-lane competition-size indoor pool and an impressive concession area complete with grassy areas and many umbrella tables for poolside enjoyment.
