CELEBRATE TIPTON!

The Tipton Farmers Market is held every Thursday evening from 4-6 PM and assembles on the north side of the square during the summer months and moves to an indoor location in the colder months. You will find a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, eggs, flowers, baked goods, homemade crafts, soaps and candles at the Tipton Farmer’s Market. Also, there is an additional market held on Saturday mornings on the south side of the courthouse square.

The Fourth of July means a parade through downtown Tipton and the traditional fireworks at dusk in the city park.  .

The first full weekend in August is the date for Tipton Ridiculous Days and the Hardacre Film Festival which is the longest-running independent film festival in Iowa. One of the primary goals of the Hardacre Film Festival is to bring a diverse selection of cutting-edge independen tmotion pictures to an Eastern Iowa audience who otherwise would not have an opportunity to view these films.
