The administrative offices include the City Manager, City Clerk, Finance Officer and Utility Billing. The City of Tipton Administration offices are located at Tipton City Hall, 407 Lynn Street with office hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The City of Tipton observes the following holidays and will be closed: New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The Tipton Police Department is located within city hall and has a separate entrance from Lynn Street. After hours emergency calls can be made by dialing 911. The Tipton Police Department can be reached by dialing: 563-886-2424; through Cedar County Dispatch at 563-886-2121, option 4; or for emergencies, dial 911.
