City Council meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month at 5:30 PM., special meetings are held on an as-needed basis. The meeting are held at the Tipton Fire Department, 301 Lynn St., Tipton, Iowa. Tentative City Council agendas are posted the Friday before the meeting on the North and South doors of City Hall, and on this website.Iowa Code, Chapter 21, as interpreted, permits public meetings to be held electronically, provided all participates can either hear or see the meeting, and provided the Council and the public can participate. The City of Tipton will be utilizing Go To Meeting to host our council meetings. The Public can attend the meeting on their own computer using the Go to Meeting link found on the Council Meeting agenda.Agendas may be changed up to 24 hours before the start of the meeting.OPEN RECORDS REQUEST: Please complete the attached form (Click Here). Response to your request will be made by the City of Tipton, within twenty (20) business days of the receipt of the completed form.
